Frequently asked questions

When Should We Arrive?

Campers should arrive promptly at their specific camp start time so that camp can begin on time. Please no early arrivals as the instructors and staff members will be in meetings and preparing for the camp day prior to start time.

What Are The Pick Up and Drop Off Times?

For your child’s safety, you will be required to escort your child into the building each day. Camp will meet promptly at 10am. Instructors are in meetings and setting up prior to camp start times so please do not enter camp area before 9:55am.

Do You Offer Early Drop-Offs or Late Pick-Ups?

Please NO EARLY DROP-OFFS or LATE PICK-UPS. Camp pick up is at 12noon for Power Ninja and 1pm for Samurai campers. $10 late pick up fee charged for each instance of being 15 or more minutes late picking up.

What Should My Child Wear?

Campers should wear comfortable clothes that will allow them to move freely and fully engage in all activities – loose comfortable play clothes for indoor/outdoor use are best. Everyone takes their shoes off at our entrance and campers should remove socks as well. Existing students are welcome, but not required to wear their Life Ki-do uniform. Campers who opt to purchase a T-shirt will be given one on the 1st day of camp.

Should I Send A Snack and Drinks With My Child?

Yes, please send a snack and beverage EACH DAY and please label all items.Please send your child with a “full breakfast belly” to have the most energy for their karate day. There will be a mid-morning snack break every day. Due to peanut allergy concerns, please do not bringing peanut items into the dojo.

How Many Instructors Are In Each Class?

Every camp will have at least 2 Life Ki-do instructors.

Can I Send Medication With My Child?

While we understand children have medical needs, Life Ki-Do staff will not administer or assistant with medication. We believe a parent or guardian must personally administer all medication.

What Is Your Cancellation And Refund Policy

Cancel anytime within 4 weeks of camp time for a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancel anytime within 2-4 weeks of camp and receive 75% credit towards a future camp or class. Cancellations with less than 2 weeks prior of camp start are not eligible for refund or credit Please understand our cancellation policies are set to provide your child with the best possible experience and to ensure adequate staffing There is no prorating of fees for missed classes or for late enrollments.
